The Epson WF-C5790 Supertank printer is identical to the Epson WF-C5790, but comes with two years’ worth of ink in the box.

Where the standard Epson WF-C5790 printer comes with black and color starter packs of Epson DuraBrite Ultra ink, the Epson WF-C5790 Supertank printer includes:

• Black and color ink starter packs
• 2 T902XXL packs (black) 10,000 page yield each
• 3 T902XL high-capacity cyan ink 5,000 page yield each
• 3 T902XL high-capacity magenta ink 5,000 page yield each
• 3 T902XL high-capacity yellow ink 5,000 page yield each

The Supertank model includes the equivalent of $922.10 worth of extra ink based on current ink costs:

Should You Buy the Supertank?

If you purchase the standard Epson WF-C5790, you will need to buy ink once the starter packs run out. With the Supertank, you are essentially “pre-purchasing” the ink. However, with the pricing for the Supertank and its included inks at just $899, you are basically getting the printer for free and saving $300 versus buying the standard version and inks separately.
