Differences between the Toshiba B-452TS, B-452HS and B-852 Barcode Printers

The first major difference between these Toshiba barcode printers is the media width. The two Toshiba B-452TS and B-452HS barcode printers each print 4-inch wide barcodes labels while the Toshiba B-852 prints 8-inch wide barcodes labels. The B-452 barcode printers have a plastic case while the B-852 has a metal case.

The other major differences involve print speed and print resolution. For example, the Toshiba B-452 comes in both a TS and an HS version. The B-452-TS prints at 300 dpi at 4 inches per second while the B-452-HS has twice the resolution, 600 dpi, but prints at half the speed at 2 inches per second. The 8-inch version (Toshiba B-852-TS barcode printer) prints at 300 dpi at 4 inches per second.
