The VIPColor color label printers featuring Memjet technology are a versatile, cost-effective 8-Inch inkjet label printer that can handle a wide range of label sizes and materials. They features 1600 dpi print resolution and can print from 6 to 12 inches per second depending on the model.
What’s the main difference between the VP500 and VP550 color label printers?
The main difference between VIPColor's VP500 and VP550 color inkjet label printers is the ink and resistance properties. Both printers use Memjet dye inks, but the VP550 dye inks have improved water and alcohol resistance properties, making it more suitable for certain applications such as craft beer labels, wine labels, water bottle label and frozen food labels. This also applies to the VP610/VP660 and VP700/VP750 printer models. Note that the standard Memjet dye inks included in the VP500, VP610 and VP700 do have more vibrant colors.
What is the main difference between the VP500 and VP610 color label printers?
The main difference between the VIPColor VP500 and VP610 color label printers is their printing speed. The VP500 can print at speeds up to 8 inches per second (ips) while the VP610 can print at speeds up to 12 ips. This makes the VP610 better suited for high-volume label printing applications where speed is crucial. Additionally, the VP610 ink cartridges have 250 ml of Memjet dye ink and VP500 ink cartridges only have 200 ml’s of ink.
What is the main difference between the VP610 and VP700 color label printers?
The main difference between the VIPColor VP610 and VP700 color label printers is that the VP610 has an external label unwinder, while the VP700 has an internal unwinder built into the printer. Both printers use the same Memjet printhead technology and have similar printing capabilities, such as printing speeds of up to 12 inches per second and a print resolution of up to 1600 dpi. Additionally, both printers use the same 250 ml ink cartridges and have similar connectivity options, including USB, Ethernet.
