Afinia L502 Color Label Printer

Afinia L701 Color Label Printer

The Afinia L701 is an 8-inch Memjet color label printer. With its page wide Memjet printhead and Memjet technology, the L701 has a fast print speed of up to 8 inches per second. The Afinia L701 isn’t as fast as its L801 and L901 siblings, but it hits that sweet spot for many businesses on a budget. The L701 has the lowest initial cost of any Memjet-powered color label printer out there.

With a low initial price, low ink cost per label, and a suggested print volume of between 2,500 to 20,000 labels per month, the Afinia L701 is an affordable choice for printing high-impact, full color food and snack labels, cannabis labels, coffee and tea labels, and pharmaceutical labels.

Afinia L801 / L801 Plus Inkjet Color Label Printer

The Afinia L801 is another Memjet-powered color label printer. It produces incredibly sharp labels up to 8 inches in width at a resolution of 1600 DPI. Thanks to its industry-leading cost of ownership, warm-up time of less than 10 seconds and output of 60 feet per minute, it's one of the best values in its class.

In everyday operation, the Afinia L801 supports roll-to-roll, roll-to-cut and print-and-hold modes of label printing. Depending on the mode you choose, it can create labels up to 40 inches long. It can handle gloss, semi-gloss and matte label stock. The Afinia L801 also has the lowest production costs compared to both inkjet and laser-based color label printers. Simply put, this particular Afinia Label model excels at quick label production runs like no other. It is ideal for print volumes ranging from 5,000 to 70,000 labels per month.

The L801 Plus model comes with Watershield™ water-resistant inks, which are much more resistant to prolonged exposure to moisture than traditional dye-based inks. If your labels will be applied to products that will be chilled (such as beverages) or used in wet environments (such as shampoo or body wash), the Afinia L801 Plus is an excellent choice.

Afinia L901 / Afinia L901 Plus Color Label Printer

The Afinia L901 / Afinia L901 Plus has many of the same features as the L801, but with greater capacity for higher volume label production (from 10,000 to 100,000 labels per month). It accepts a larger roll size (10” OD vs 8” OD with the L801). The L901 integrates in-line with label finishers, applicators, dispensers, and more.

Like the L801, the Afinia L901 has a “Plus” model. The Afinia L901 Plus uses Watershield™ water-resistant kins, allowing it to produce much more water-resistant labels than the L901. In addition, Watershield inks produce deeper blacks and do not contain any harmful chemicals.
